HNN.VN - On June 20, the working delegation of Military Region 4 led by Colonel Nguyen Tuan Anh, Deputy Head of Logistics and Engineering of Military Region 4, inspected the logistics work in preparation for the Regional Defense Commands (CHPTKV) to come into operation.

Colonel Nguyen Tuan Anh inspected the actual stationing locations of the CHPTKV Boards and listened to the unit commanders report on the situation related to the new headquarters. The delegation acknowledged and highly appreciated the positive and proactive spirit of the City Military Command and the Military Commands of districts and towns that have closely and synchronously deployed the arrangement of the stationing areas, working headquarters, places to eat, live, and study for the units after their establishment. The kitchen areas, production and livestock raising areas were also fully prepared according to regulations. The weapons and technical equipment systems were also recovered and managed closely and thoughtfully.

Colonel Nguyen Tuan Anh emphasized: The dissolution of the District Military Command and the establishment of the Regional Command Board is a major policy of the Party, the State, and the Ministry of National Defense to streamline the apparatus and gradually build an increasingly "lean, compact, and strong" army to meet the requirements of the tasks in the current situation. He requested the City Military Command, directly the Logistics - Technical agency, to guide, deploy, and direct the logistics and technical work for the Regional Command Boards in a close and synchronous manner and must complete all preparations before June 24, ready to put the 3 Regional Command Boards into operation immediately after their establishment.

According to the decision of the Ministry of National Defense, the Military Region 4 Command, to ensure the implementation of a two-level local government, from July 1, 2025, will dissolve the District, Town, and City Military Commands and establish the Regional Military Command under the City Military Command.

In Hue City, after dissolving the district level, 3 CHPTKV Committees will be established, including: CHPTKV Committee 1 - Huong Tra, CHPTKV Committee 2 - A Luoi 2 and CHPTKV Committee 3 - Phu Loc.
