Gratitude to those who donated blood and platelets urgently

On the afternoon of June 21, Khanh Hoa Provincial Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center organized a meeting and exchange program for clubs: Living Blood Source, Platelet Donation, Rare Blood Types in the province with the message "Donate golden blood - give thousands of hopes".

At the program, doctors from the Provincial Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center disseminated some contents related to the benefits of blood donation, platelet donation and learning about rare blood types (Rh-). Club members also shared and exchanged some experiences in the process of platelet donation; discussed and proposed solutions to make the club's activities more and more convenient, spreading the noble meaning of donating blood to save lives.

Doctors from the Provincial Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center discussed some contents about voluntary blood donation.

Currently, the Provincial Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center is managing 3 clubs: Living Blood Source, Platelet Donation, Rare Blood Groups with a total of nearly 1,200 members, of which the Rare Blood Group Club has 36 members. In addition, the province also has 4 Living Blood Source and Platelet Donation clubs with nearly 1,000 members. In the first 6 months of the year, the Provincial Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center received nearly 11,200 donated blood units, including nearly 650 platelet units.

Leaders of the Provincial Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center presented a plaque of gratitude to members of clubs who actively participated in donating blood to save lives.

On this occasion, the Provincial Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center presented 15 gifts of gratitude to a number of club members who have donated platelets and rare blood in emergency many times, contributing to the work of saving lives.
