On June 22, in response to a reporter's question asking about Vietnam's reaction to the United States' attack on a number of Iranian nuclear facilities in the early morning of June 22, 2025 (Vietnam time), Spokesperson of the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pham Thu Hang stated:

“Vietnam is deeply concerned about the complicated and escalating conflict in the Middle East, which seriously threatens the lives and safety of civilians, and peace and stability in the region and the world .

Vietnam calls on relevant parties to immediately end military actions, including attacks on nuclear facilities, continue efforts to negotiate, resolve disagreements by peaceful means, on the basis of international law, especially the United Nations Charter, respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity of nations, international humanitarian law and regulations of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)"./.
