This is a sports and cultural event to honor the martial spirit, promote the image of Thai Nguyen as a dynamic and creative place, and at the same time arouse the martial arts training movement among youth, armed forces and people.
The program "Night of the Ring" has the participation of boxers from Ninh Binh , Thanh Hoa and Thai Nguyen provinces with 8 matches in the weight categories: 64kg, 51-54kg, 70-80kg for men and 48-51kg, 51-54kg and 76kg for women.

Speaking at the program, Mr. Duong Xuan Hung, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thai Nguyen province, said that the program "Night of the Stage" of Vietnamese Traditional Martial Arts in Thai Nguyen province is a martial arts festival with profound significance in preserving and promoting national cultural values. This is an opportunity to honor the spirit of martial arts, spread pride in the identity of Vietnamese martial arts, and at the same time create a healthy and attractive playground for martial artists inside and outside the province to exchange, learn and compete.
In addition, the event also contributes to promoting the sports movement among the masses, especially the young generation, towards building a healthy and dynamic community. At the same time, "The Night of the Ring" in Thai Nguyen is also an opportunity to promote the local image, attract the attention of the public, through exchange activities, performances, and competitions of Vietnamese traditional martial arts, contributing to the development of culture, sports and tourism in the province.

Also on this occasion, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thai Nguyen province organized the Taekwondo, Karate, Vovinam and Traditional Martial Arts Club Tournament. The tournament attracted more than 1,800 athletes to compete in 90 events. Through the tournament, it aims to continue developing the physical training movement following the example of great Uncle Ho, creating a common playground for martial arts clubs in the whole province, thereby enhancing the spirit of solidarity, exchange, sharing and learning experiences between individuals, clubs and units, contributing to promoting and developing the martial arts training movement among youth, armed forces and people; discovering and selecting outstanding young athletes, adding them to gifted classes, provincial teams to practice and compete in national tournaments.
