According to the Management Board of Fishing Ports and Wharves (Department of Agriculture and Environment), in the first 8 months of 2025, the output of aquatic products through Ngoc Hai fishing port reached more than 2,932 tons, of which 1,599.7 tons of aquatic products from fishing vessels unloaded through the port, 1,332.4 tons of aquatic products transported by road for transactions within the scope of Ngoc Hai fishing port.
Currently, Ngoc Hai fishing port receives 30 - 80 fishing boats of Hai Phong fishermen every day to supply seafood to traders with an average output of 3 - 6 tons/day.
To ensure safe docking of fishing vessels, the Fishing Port Management Board effectively exploits infrastructure, ensuring essential services (electricity, water) for organizations and individuals coming to trade. Arrange locations for receiving, classifying, and purchasing seafood suitable for each area, instruct fishermen and traders to classify and display seafood using specialized tools to ensure environmental hygiene in the wharf and port areas.

During the operation, the Management Board of Ngoc Hai Fishing Port and Wharf coordinated with the local security forces and border guards to ensure security and order; Deployed instructions for fishermen to install the application of the Electronic Seafood Traceability System (eCDT).
Ngoc Hai fishing port is the largest fishing port in Hai Phong today.
