SEA GN is a local non-profit organization under the Southeast Asia Research Association - Vietnam (SEARAV), under the Ministry of Science and Technology , and a member of the global GNI ecosystem. The center is expected to become a bridge to spread knowledge, resources and initiatives for the sustainable development of children and communities in Vietnam and the Southeast Asia region.

SEA GN's activities focus on four main areas. Ineducation , the Center develops and applies active educational methods that are suitable for Vietnamese practice and international experience. In community development, SEA GN implements sustainable livelihood, social security and vocational training programs. In the environmental field, the Center researches and applies solutions to adapt to climate change and protect natural resources. In development cooperation, SEA GN plays a connecting role between the community and organizations, businesses and donors through a transparent and effective tripartite cooperation model.
Speaking at the launch ceremony, Ms. Dao Thien Ly, Director of SEA GN Center, said: SEA GN will put people at the center of all activities, especially children and vulnerable groups. SEA GN is committed to constantly learning, innovating and listening so that each program is suitable for practical needs and has the ability to be replicated.
