Launching Vietnam Import-Export Report 2024

(Chinhphu.vn) - On the afternoon of August 1, within the framework of the event "Vietnam Import and Export: Honoring - Announcing - Connecting - Cooperating", the Import and Export Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade) held the Ceremony to announce the Vietnam Import and Export Report 2024.

Vietnam Import-Export Report is an official document of the Ministry of Industry and Trade on the import-export situation of each group of goods, markets, the situation of taking advantage of opportunities from FTAs and the management of import-export activities. Over the years, the Import-Export Report has provided transparent and systematic information, which has been of interest, trusted and highly appreciated by management agencies, enterprises, associations, research and training organizations.

According to the report, in 2024, in a more positive macroeconomic context than in 2023, with the strong participation of the Government and ministries, branches and the efforts to overcome difficulties of the business community, import and export will recover strongly, contributing positively to the overall growth of the economy , contributing to macroeconomic stability.

After 8 years of publication, the Vietnam Import-Export Report 2024 has gathered relatively complete information not only on import-export activities but also on management activities of agencies under the Ministry of Industry and Trade and other ministries and branches.

The compilation of the annual Import-Export Report is considered by the Ministry of Industry and Trade as one of the important tasks, demonstrating the spirit of support, creation and companionship with businesses and industry associations; contributing to the highest level of completion of the Government 's socio-economic goals.

"Hopefully, this publication will be an important handbook, providing state management agencies at all levels, research institutes, training institutions, associations, industries and the business community with useful information, serving research, direction, management and accessing, exploiting export opportunities to markets with great potential, promoting sustainable exports", Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien expected.
