The Prime Minister respectfully conveyed the regards of National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man to National Assembly Chairwoman Yael Braun-Pivet and thanked the French side for the warm and thoughtful reception for him and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation.
The Prime Minister emphasized that Vietnam always attaches importance to and wishes to strengthen multifaceted cooperation with France, Vietnam's first and only comprehensive strategic partner in the EU; affirming that this visit to France, right after President Emmanuel Macron's visit at the end of May, demonstrates Vietnam's determination to deepen the relationship between the two countries, making it more effective and practical.
Welcoming the Prime Minister and the high-ranking delegation of Vietnam, National Assembly Chairwoman Yael Braun-Pivet highly appreciated the program with many important activities of the Prime Minister, thereby concretizing the major orientations in the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.
The President of the French National Assembly said that the President of the France-Vietnam Friendship Parliamentary Group joined President Emmanuel Macron's delegation to visit Vietnam. The French National Assembly assessed the visit as successful beyond expectations.
The President of the French National Assembly was pleased that the activities of the Friendship Parliamentary Group of the two countries were very vibrant and close.

National Assembly Chairwoman Yael Braun-Pivet expressed her admiration for Vietnam's great development achievements in all aspects and affirmed that cooperation and delegation exchanges between the two countries' National Assemblies are one of the important pillars within the framework of the Vietnam-France Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
President Yael Braun-Pivet said that more and more French people are coming to Vietnam to form communities to live, invest, do business, work and many have been very successful in Vietnam. It is the overseas communities in each country that have made the relationship between the two nations more connected and closer.

At the meeting, the two leaders reviewed the important results in the good cooperative relationship, especially in the exchange of delegations and contacts between the two National Assemblies, and assessed that this is a vivid demonstration of the closeness and effective cooperation between the legislative bodies of the two countries, contributing to enhancing understanding, consolidating political trust and promoting cooperation in all fields.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized the important role of the National Assembly in exercising the right to make the Constitution, legislate, decide on important issues and supervise state activities.
The Prime Minister shared that in Vietnam, the current rate of female participation in the 15th National Assembly is 30.2%, the rate of female participation in People's Councils at provincial and district levels is 29% and with this rate, Vietnam is among the countries with the highest rate of female political participation in the world.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and National Assembly Chairwoman Yael Braun-Pivet agreed to continue to maintain high-level delegation exchanges and between specialized committees, friendship parliamentarians' groups, female parliamentarians' groups, and young parliamentarians' groups of the two countries to exchange experiences and improve the operational efficiency of the two countries' parliamentary agencies as well as strengthen effective supervision of cooperation agreements signed between the two governments.

On the multilateral level, the two sides agreed to strengthen coordination and mutual support at regional and international inter-parliamentary forums such as the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), the Francophone Parliament, etc., and together promote the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), for the benefit of the people of the two countries, for peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region as well as in the world.
To continue to develop the Vietnam-France Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in depth and substance and promote the strengths of the two countries in the coming time, the Prime Minister proposed that the French National Assembly support the Government in implementing the specific contents of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, with symbolic projects in areas such as construction of transport infrastructure, new energy, education and training, culture and arts, museum conservation, and people-to-people exchange.
On this occasion, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh also respectfully conveyed the invitation to visit Vietnam from National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man to National Assembly Chairwoman Yael Braun-Pivet. National Assembly Chairwoman Yael Braun-Pivet happily accepted the invitation.
