Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh chaired the fourth meeting of the Steering Committee for the National Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
Reporting at the meeting, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong said that the Ministry has coordinated with the Vietnam Exhibition Center and international consulting unit GL Events to design and allocate exhibition space for agencies, organizations and enterprises participating in the Exhibition. Relevant departments, ministries, branches and agencies have received the premises and implemented the design of the exhibition space, sending it to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
The Content Subcommittee held two meetings, on July 15 and July 21, together with international consulting unit GL Events to research, advise and give comments on the exhibition design plans of ministries, branches, central agencies and localities. After each meeting, the Ministry compiled comments and sent them to relevant units to continue perfecting the design.

At the meeting, after listening to reports from ministries, branches and localities on preparations for the Exhibition and opinions from members of the Steering Committee, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh welcomed and acknowledged the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Government Office, central ministries, branches, Hanoi City, provinces and centrally run cities and relevant agencies for their efforts and efforts in a short time to focus on implementing the tasks and work of organizing the Exhibition in the past time.
Through the reports and discussions of the delegates, the Deputy Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to absorb and supplement to complete the overall plan.
Emphasizing that this is an important and key event to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day, the Deputy Prime Minister requested that the Exhibition must be organized solemnly, in accordance with the policies of the Party and State, on a scale commensurate with the country's proud 80-year journey, must attract a large number of people to see the Exhibition, the attention of international friends, and at the same time must be safe and economical.
There is not much time left from now until the opening day of the Exhibition, so the Deputy Prime Minister requested ministries, branches, agencies and localities to have high determination and make great efforts to well implement the tasks and work of organizing this important Exhibition, in which note the following contents:

Ministries, branches, central agencies, People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities: Urgently focus on implementing assigned tasks and work in accordance with the direction of the Government, Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Ministers, Exhibition Steering Committee and approved Projects, Programs and Plans, ensuring progress, quality and efficiency.
During the implementation process, ensure "6 clarity: clear people, clear work, clear responsibility, clear authority, clear time, clear results"; need to review the work done, if there are any problems, continue to supplement and complete. Proactively direct the handling of assigned tasks, difficulties, and problems (if any) according to authority; promptly report to competent authorities for arising issues beyond authority.
Focus on reviewing the content of the exhibition outline and take full responsibility for the content, images, information, documents, and artifacts displayed in the exhibition space of the agency or unit under your charge.
Urgently adjust and complete the design plan, prepare for the exhibition construction and send the completed design plan back to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for synthesis, build the Exhibition on a digital platform, and complete the overall layout of the Exhibition.
The Deputy Prime Minister requested to speed up the implementation of assigned tasks and duties in accordance with instructions.
The Deputy Prime Minister requested the Ministries of Finance, Industry and Trade, Construction, National Defense, Public Security, and Foreign Affairs to proactively coordinate the participation of organizations, enterprises, and units under or under the management of the Ministry; proactively coordinate with the Vietnam Exhibition Fair Center Joint Stock Company and international consulting units to support and facilitate units and enterprises in the registration process, allocate reasonable space, and provide design consultation to ensure harmony in the overall exhibition space.
Responsible for reviewing and verifying the legality and representativeness of the enterprises introduced to participate in the exhibition; carefully reviewing the display content of the participating enterprises and units, ensuring the copyright, accuracy and completeness of information and images, documents and exhibits on display.
Localities organizing fairs and displaying products of enterprises need to ensure that enterprises operate legally and have prestige in the field of production and business; products and services are representative and typical of the industry and locality; meet standards on quality, food hygiene and safety (for consumer products); prioritize enterprises with products certified by OCOP, VietGAP, ISO..., prioritize enterprises with positive contributions to the community, society and environment.
The Deputy Prime Minister requested to accelerate the progress of the implementation of assigned tasks and duties in accordance with the direction of the Government, the Prime Minister, the Deputy Prime Ministers, the Exhibition Steering Committee and the approved Projects, Programs and Plans, ensuring that all preparations for the Exhibition must be basically completed before August 15. On August 20, the Steering Committee will review before reporting to the competent authority.
Regarding specific tasks, the Deputy Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism: Regarding the overall design, the Ministry shall coordinate with the Vietnam Exhibition Fair Center Joint Stock Company and the international consulting unit to urgently develop and complete the overall design of the Exhibition space (including the outdoor space and the indoor space of the exhibition area at Kim Quy Exhibition House and Block A Exhibition House). The Ministry shall establish an Appraisal Council and be responsible for approving the design according to its authority and regulations. To be completed before August 5, 2025.
Regarding adjustment and reallocation of space: The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism shall preside over and coordinate with relevant units to reallocate space for exhibitions of 12 cultural industries and the "Economic Locomotive" space in accordance with the actual number of registered enterprises and organizations participating.
Synthesize the completed designs of the units, urgently complete the overall layout of the Exhibition space and build the Digital Exhibition.
Preside and coordinate with Vietnam Exhibition Fair Center Joint Stock Company to develop a plan for agencies and units to construct and display, ensuring construction time is appropriate to the workload of each unit.
Develop a plan to organize the Opening Ceremony, Closing Ceremony of the Exhibition, other programs and activities; report to the Steering Committee before August 5, then develop a detailed scenario.
Urgently issue a detailed communication plan; synchronously deploy communication activities, ensure strong spreading effects and enhance the effectiveness of propaganda for the event.
The Deputy Prime Minister agreed to add exhibition space for three units: the Supreme People's Court, the Supreme People's Procuracy and the State Audit to fully and comprehensively present the picture of the country's achievements during 80 years of construction and development.

Vingroup Corporation and Vietnam Exhibition Fair Center Joint Stock Company: Prepare sufficient infrastructure conditions for units to construct, set up and implement exhibition activities; provide infrastructure data to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, relevant agencies and units; manage and operate infrastructure during the exhibition.

Emphasizing that there is not much time left to prepare and the workload ahead is huge, the Deputy Prime Minister requested agencies and units to promote the highest sense of responsibility, determination, and drastic actions to make the Exhibition of Socio-Economic Achievements of 80 Years of Independence - Freedom - Happiness a great success.
