The relationship between Victoria State and Ho Chi Minh City will continue to reap many important achievements.

On the afternoon of September 25, on the sidelines of the 5th Ho Chi Minh City Economic Forum (HEF), Mr. Tran Phuoc Anh, Member of the City Party Committee, Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs of Ho Chi Minh City received Ms. Naila Mazzucco, Senior Trade Commissioner of Victoria State (Australia) in Southeast Asia.

At the reception, Mr. Tran Phuoc Anh thanked Ms. Naila Mazzucco for representing Victoria State to attend the 5th Ho Chi Minh City Economic Forum and the 2nd Ho Chi Minh City Friendship Dialogue - two major foreign affairs events organized by the City in 2024.

The two sides agreed to continue promoting cooperation between Victoria State and Ho Chi Minh City in the fields of trade,education , technology, green transformation and many other potential areas.

Besides, Ms. Naila Mazzucco expressed her belief that the relationship between Victoria State and Ho Chi Minh City will continue to reap many important and in-depth achievements, continuing to contribute to promoting the cooperative relationship between the two countries in the coming time.

Ho Chi Minh City and Victoria state established friendly relations in 2022. The two sides continuously exchange high-level delegations and promote investment, trade and tourism on the basis of the Vietnam-Australia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 5th Ho Chi Minh City Economic Forum (HEFF) 2024 taking place from September 24-27 with a series of events related to industrial transformation.

This year's forum revolves around the following contents: Major trends (Megatrend) in industrial transformation in the world; governance ecosystem and policies to promote industrial transformation; Ho Chi Minh City's industrial transformation strategy in the context of regional, international connectivity and new technology trends; the central role of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR) in Ho Chi Minh City associated with industrial transformation.

HEF is an annual international event hosted by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee to receive contributions from speakers and domestic and international experts on the city's socio-economic development in general and the city's key projects, goals and programs in particular.
