Because the routes to flooded areas such as Muong Tip, Bac Ly, Tuong Duong, and Luong Minh are still not open, two helicopters are expected to make four flights, transporting more than 12 tons of relief goods, including food, drinking water, and essential supplies to these areas.
This is the second consecutive day that Army helicopters have participated in relief and supply for flood-hit areas in the western part of Nghe An province.

Along with the Army, this morning, hundreds of banh chung, boxes of instant noodles, cakes, and bottled water continued to be donated and urgently sent by organizations, individuals, and people to the gathering point to be delivered to people in isolated areas.
Colonel Pham Van Dung, Director of the Northern Helicopter Company (Army Corps 18, Ministry of National Defense ) informed: “We have developed a specific plan to reach isolated locations as quickly as possible. In particular, the flight crew is determined to deliver goods to Muong Tip, because the area is still completely isolated and inaccessible by road. The transportation will ensure absolute safety and reach the people as soon as possible.”
