Xuan Truong Ward - Da Lat focuses on developing the economy in depth

Attending and giving a speech at the Congress of Party Delegates of Xuan Truong Ward - Da Lat, Comrade Pham Thi Phuc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong Province, suggested that the locality focus on solutions to develop the economy in depth; taking science, technology, innovation, creativity and digital transformation as important driving forces.

The 1st Congress of the Party Committee of Xuan Truong Ward - Da Lat, Lam Dong Province, term 2025 - 2030 took place on the morning of July 23.

Attending the event were comrades: Pham Thi Phuc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province; Dang Duc Hiep, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat; Da Cat Vinh, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Thi Thuan Bich, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council, former local leaders of all periods, and 149 delegates representing 806 party members in the entire Party Committee.

Xuan Truong Ward - Da Lat was established on the basis of merging Ward 11 and the communes of Xuan Truong, Xuan Tho and Tram Hanh. During the past term, the local socio -economic situation has changed dramatically, with 14/14 targets reaching and exceeding the set plan. The economic structure has shifted in the right direction. The growth rate has increased compared to the plan. The average income per capita has increased.

Strong sectors such as service tourism and high-tech agriculture continued to assert their superiority. Total state budget revenue reached 103 billion VND, up 72%. Socio-economic infrastructure was gradually upgraded and completed.

Culture - Society has made much progress. People's material and spiritual life is constantly improving. Average income per capita reached 69 million VND/year, an increase of 53% compared to 2020.

Party building work has achieved many positive results. The leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization have been enhanced. Political and ideological education and the struggle to protect the Party's ideological foundation have been carried out systematically and effectively. The locality has also done a good job of streamlining the organizational apparatus to operate effectively and efficiently.

Speaking at the congress, comrade Pham Thi Phuc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, suggested that the document should further clarify the potential, strengths and characteristics of the situation of Xuan Truong Ward - Da Lat; study, supplement and perfect the system of indicators for the next term; in which it is necessary to pay attention to indicators on environmental protection, collection of toxic agricultural waste, afforestation, forest management and protection, indicators on culture, trade and industry; business development, cooperatives... to ensure the successful implementation of the goal of building and developing green, sustainable and modern in the next term.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Pham Thi Phuc also specifically reminded the ward Party Committee to strengthen Party building, a clean and strong political system associated with promoting administrative reform within the Party. In the coming term, the ward needs to pay attention to building and training a team of cadres, civil servants and public employees who are politically steadfast, professionally skilled, innovative, creative and ready to serve the people.
