The forces simultaneously inspected water containers in households, instructed people to rinse and cover containers, change water in flower vases, and eliminate mosquito breeding sites such as unused items, scrap, stagnant ponds, vacant lots, sewers, etc.

The campaign involved health workers , youth, neighborhood leaders, health collaborators and representatives of 25 neighborhoods. Propaganda and general environmental sanitation activities were organized in 100% of households.

Since the beginning of the year, the ward has recorded 93 cases of dengue fever, including 11 new cases last week and 4 outbreaks have been handled. Rach Dua Ward will maintain mosquito larvae eradication activities every Saturday until insect indicators decrease to the prescribed threshold.
This is a practical activity in response to the peak month of dengue fever prevention and control in Ho Chi Minh City, contributing to disease control during the rainy season.
