At the request of the Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs in Document No. 48/TTr-BLDTBXH dated August 5, 2024, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang signed a decision to re-issue the "Fatherland's Gratitude" Certificate to 937 martyrs who sacrificed their lives in previous revolutionary periods. Of which, Phu Tho has 48 martyrs.

The “Fatherland’s Gratitude” Certificate is a certificate of merit and contribution of martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the resistance war, and the State considers them eligible and grants the certificate. The “Fatherland’s Gratitude” Certificate is not only a certificate of martyrs’ contributions in the process of building and defending the Fatherland in both wartime and peacetime, but also a certificate of eligibility for the martyrs’ relatives.
Pursuant to Article 24 of Decree 131/2021/ND-CP, cases in which citizens are re-issued a Certificate of Merit include the following cases: The Certificate of Merit is lost; The Certificate of Merit is missing information due to blurred text; The Certificate of Merit is damaged.
