(GLO)- The People's Committee of Phu Thien district (Gia Lai province) has just organized the handover of the national historical-cultural relic site Plei Oi, Yang Potao Apui rain-praying ceremony and the tasks of preserving intangible culture and intangible cultural discoveries in the district.

Accordingly, from June 20, the People's Committee of Ayun Ha commune officially received tasks related to the Plei Oi national historical-cultural relic site from the district's Department of Culture, Science and Information.

The Commune People's Committee will be responsible for presiding over and coordinating with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to upgrade the exhibition space at the relic, supplement the Potao Apui genealogy, artifacts and multimedia applications to introduce the relic to domestic and foreign tourists; coordinate with the Department of Science and Technology, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to provide documents, local stories and support the organization of communication events at the relic; implement solutions to preserve and promote the value of the relic; open to welcome visitors according to regulations.

For the People's Committees of Ia Piar, Ia Peng, Ia Yeng, Ia Ake, and Chu A Thai communes, advise the Party Committee and the government to coordinate with the People's Committee of Ayun Ha commune to preside over the organization of the villagers' rain-praying festival associated with the work of preserving and promoting the intangible cultural heritage values ​​of each locality to develop tourism .

In which, the Yang Oi Dai rain-praying festival is managed by Ia Piar commune. The Yang Drun Ia water-wharf worshiping ceremony is managed by Ia Peng commune. The ear-blowing and bracelet-wearing ceremonies are managed by Ia Yeng commune. The People's Committee of Ia Ake commune has a solution to manage the area with traces of the Ksor Joloi stone phenomenon (the first Fire King). On the basis of arranging new commune-level administrative units after completing the district level, the People's Committee at the commune level will receive and lead and direct the implementation of tangible and intangible cultural preservation work in accordance with regulations.
