Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Manh Tuan worked with leaders of KGM Tatadaewoo Group, Korea

Comrade Nguyen Manh Tuan, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, chaired the reception and worked with the delegation. Also attending the meeting were leaders of departments, branches, sectors, People's Committee of Tuyen Quang city and Son Duong district.

Speaking at the welcoming ceremony for the delegation, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Manh Tuan affirmed that in recent years, the cooperative relationship between Tuyen Quang province and Korean partners has been increasingly expanded and achieved positive results, in which Tuyen Quang province has had cooperative relations with localities, agencies and organizations of Korea. In the province, there are 7 FDI projects of Korean investors being implemented with a total registered investment capital of nearly 36 million USD, which have brought about positive results.

Mr. Ko Younghak, Chairman of KGM Tatadaewoo Group of Korea, said that the Group needs about 10 hectares of land to build an automobile assembly plant and 30 hectares to implement a high-tech agricultural project. In addition, the Group wants to invest in human resource training, vocational training for Vietnamese workers in Korea and recruitment for the Group in Vietnam. In order to promote cooperation, the Group hopes to continue to discuss more deeply in the future.

Appreciating the proposals of the Chairman of the Group, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Manh Tuan said that it was also in line with what Tuyen Quang province wanted in terms of attracting investment into the province. The two sides need to realize the wishes of the Secretary of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee and Mr. Pak Noh Wan, former Korean Ambassador to Vietnam, who connected.

Previously, the delegation surveyed Tam Da Industrial Cluster and Long Binh An Industrial Park to have preliminary ideas for cooperation with Tuyen Quang province in the coming time.
