Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Mai Son presents Tet gifts to Agent Orange victims in difficult circumstances in Luc Nam district

On the afternoon of January 22, the Bac Giang Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin organized a program to give Tet gifts to disadvantaged victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in 2025 in Luc Nam district. Attending the event were Mr. Mai Son - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Honorary Chairman of the Provincial Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin; representatives of the leaders of Luc Nam district.

Speaking here, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Mai Son expressed his sympathy and shared the difficulties that the victims and their families are suffering, and encouraged the families to try to overcome the difficulties and improve their lives. He affirmed that over the years, Bac Giang province has always paid attention to devoting many resources to take care of Tet for policy households, people with revolutionary contributions, especially families of Agent Orange/dioxin victims in difficult circumstances.

He suggested that in the coming time, all levels, sectors and localities continue to pay more attention to the material and spiritual life of families of Agent Orange/dioxin victims; have many flexible and creative forms to support families to overcome difficulties. He also hopes that families of Agent Orange/dioxin victims will overcome difficulties, encourage their children and grandchildren to improve their lives; and wish families of Agent Orange/dioxin victims good health and a new spring filled with joy and happiness.

On this occasion, the Standing Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Mai Son province and leaders of the Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin presented 55 Tet gifts to victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in difficult circumstances, each gift worth 700,000 VND.

It is known that on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of At Ty this year, the Provincial Association of Agent Orange/Dioxin Victims presented 245 Tet gifts to families of Agent Orange/Dioxin victims in difficult circumstances in districts, towns and cities in the province./.
