Session 4-7, stock market increased again

After falling yesterday, on July 4, the VN-Index reversed, increasing more than 5 points.

On the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, at the end of the session, VN-Index reached 1,386.97 points, up 5.01 points (0.36%); VN30-Index increased 7.57 points (0.51%), to 1,488.77 points.

Increasing stocks dominated with 204 stocks going up and 101 stocks going down. In the VN30 group, the number of stocks increasing and decreasing in price were 23 and 4, respectively.

In today's session, at first, the group of large stocks performed quite weakly, especially the two pillars VIC and VHM. Therefore, the index representing the floor fluctuated within a narrow range and at times showed red. However, towards the end of the session, improved demand helped the VN-Index increase better.

Most sectors gained points, with hardware and software performing the best. Going against the market were consumer services, materials, healthcare, real estate, consumer goods and decoration.

FPT is the code that contributes the most to the VN-Index with nearly 1.6 points. This is also the code with the highest liquidity in the market with 1,555 billion VND changed hands. Next are bank stocks VCB, ACB , BID. Meanwhile, VIC prevented the market from increasing further when it took away nearly 2.3 points.

Small and mid-cap stocks performed quite positively. TTF, LDG, and PTL hit the ceiling. In addition, this group also achieved quite good liquidity.

Liquidity decreased sharply compared to the previous session, reaching nearly VND21,000 billion. Notably, foreign investors continued to net buy strongly. This group bought more than VND3,631 billion and sold more than VND1,851 billion.

On the Hanoi Stock Exchange, at the end of the session, the HNX-Index stopped at 232.51 points, up 1.58 points (0.68%); the HNX30-Index rose to 479.08 points after increasing 1.6 points (0.34%). The total transaction value reached more than 1,500 billion VND.
