(CLO) On February 12, the Organizing Committee of Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee coordinated with the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee and Kien Giang Newspaper to organize a ceremony to announce the decision to transfer and appoint the Editor-in-Chief of Kien Giang Newspaper.
At the ceremony, Provincial Party Committee member, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Hien announced Decision 1894-QD/TU, dated February 6, 2025, to transfer and appoint Mr. Lam Van Sen - Deputy Head of the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee to hold the position of Editor-in-Chief of Kien Giang Newspaper. The term of office is 5 years from the date of signing the decision.

Speaking at the ceremony, Standing Committee member, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee Tong Phuoc Truong said: Comrade Lam Van Sen, from being a reporter for Kien Giang Newspaper, has constantly strived, trained, gradually matured and held the position of Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Kien Giang Newspaper, then was transferred to the grassroots, then took on the position of Director of the Department of Information and Communications, then Deputy Head of the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee.
Comrade Tong Phuoc Truong hopes that the Editorial Board and the team of cadres, reporters, and comrade Lam Van Sen will quickly approach the work, promote their capacity and experience, and bring Kien Giang Newspaper to further development, closer to cadres, party members and people in the province.
Speaking at the ceremony, Editor-in-Chief of Kien Giang Newspaper Lam Van Sen thanked the comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee for always creating conditions for him to strive, train and mature over the past time; and at the same time, he sincerely thanked the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee for their trust in assigning him new tasks.
