Onana makes unreasonable demands

Andre Onana is unhappy with his pay cut at Manchester United and even wants to re-sign with the club this summer.

According to The Athletic , Onana returned to Carrington training center earlier this summer hoping to sign a new contract after taking a 25% pay cut due to Manchester United's failure to qualify for the Champions League.

The Cameroonian goalkeeper wanted to renegotiate his contract and end the clause that would have reduced his salary for not qualifying for the Champions League. Obviously, this request was not approved. Coach Ruben Amorim was also dissatisfied with his player's attitude.

Onana is under contract with Manchester United from the summer of 2023, earning £140,000 a week. After taking a pay cut, Onana held talks with a number of Saudi Arabian and European clubs.
