At around 9:30 a.m., many visitors to Mui Dien (also known as Mui Dai Lanh, Hoa Tam commune, Dong Hoa town) saw more than 30 dolphins, each nearly 2.5 meters long, swimming in a long line on the water's surface.

Tour guide Van Duy said the school of fish was swimming more than a kilometer away from Mui Dien, about 20 minutes away. "I've never seen such a large school of dolphins," he said. Some visitors were excited to see dolphins chasing each other in the sea, taking out their phones to film.

Mr. Nguyen Trong Thao, Head of Dai Lanh Lighthouse Station, said that schools of fish often appear in areas with calm waves and calm seas. Three years ago, hundreds of dolphins were swimming in the sea near Hon Lao Mai Nha, Tuy An district.

Dolphins are mammals, 1.2-9.5 m long, weighing from 40 kg to 10 tons, often living in groups of several dozen to hundreds in shallow seas. This is one of the fish species friendly to humans, can be trained to perform circus acts.
