Phuong My Chi brings Song of the Southern Land to the V Concert stage - Photo: NAM TRAN
This August, the music industry witnessed the blossoming of national concerts/programs as well as music videos with the theme of the artists' homeland.
If in the past only a part of the audience went to concerts, recently concerts/music festivals have become almost "popular" to all classes of people.
Regret in Singapore! Asia has now turned into happiness at V Concert. The song of the Southern land was not only sung but also echoed with the voices of the people. Thank you for turning this moment into an unforgettable memory of Chi's life.

Concert, MV landing
On August 9 and 10 alone, Hanoi had three "national concerts" (both ticketed and free and all "sold out") including V Concert - Radiant Vietnam, V Fest - Glorious Youth and Fatherland in the Heart , attracting a total of about 100,000 people.
From now until the national parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day September 2 (A80), Hanoi will also have the shows Hanoi - From the historic autumn of 1945, Hanoi - Forever shining Vietnamese aspiration, 8Wonder, Proud to be Vietnamese, Vietnam in me...
After finishing the performance and stepping off the stage, Den and his friends were all sobbing and reluctantly wanting the set to last longer so they could continue screaming and singing with their beloved audience.

Eating and sleeping with concerts is real. There are days when I'm so busy with national concerts because the programs are held continuously, I have to run from one side of the city to the other to keep up.
Together celebrating National Day September 2, each program has its own format. For example, both are organized by VTV, but V Concert is imbued with national culture, tradition and a multi-generational artist lineup, while V Fest is more youthful with the most "powerful" lineup in the Vietnamese entertainment industry at the moment, including many "older brothers" and "beautiful sisters".
The Fatherland in the Heart has a different scenario. The stage of My Dinh Stadium is dyed with the color of the Fatherland flag. 50,000 people chant "Vietnam", sing together the Tien Quan Ca as well as many songs of the homeland and country in a heroic atmosphere, with flags fluttering.
The presence of 68 soldiers from the 1st Army Officer School reenacting the parade on Red Square (Russia) right at My Dinh Stadium received enthusiastic support from the audience.
Or the upcoming 8Wonder music festival on August 23rd will have a different spirit, combining international contemporary music and Vietnamese contemporary music.
The event brought together famous international artists such as DJ Snake (Europe), J Balvin (America), The Kid LAROI (Australia) and DPR IAN (Korea). On the Vietnamese side, there were Soobin and Hoa Minzy, who are also two of the hottest names in V-pop at the moment.
In addition to the performances, many artists also released music products to celebrate National Day: EP Words of the Vietnamese Heart including three songs Words of the Vietnamese Heart, Love the Vietnamese Smile and Welcome to Vietnam (by singer Hoang Bach), MVs Made in Vietnam (DTAP), Fatherland in the Sunlight (Duong Hoang Yen), Soaring Up to Vietnam (Dinh Lan Huong), Wishing to be a Vietnamese (Vo Ha Tram), Forever a Vietnamese (Trang Phap)...
Vietnam - Proudly Stepping into the Future
In particular, Nguyen Vu released a series of 34 songs at once praising the beauty of 34 provinces and cities after the merger.
Tung Duong also just released the MV Vietnam - Proudly following the future on August 14 to welcome the era of national growth.
Meanwhile, Duyen Quynh released the MV "Nguyen The Vi Binh An" praising the Vietnam People's Public Security force.
According to Tung Duong, in 10 days he will release the MV " Writing the story of peace" . All three songs above were composed by musician Nguyen Van Chung.
In nearly 20 years of musical activities, I have always been steadfast in traditional and revolutionary music. Recently, witnessing the love of audiences, especially young audiences, for patriotic songs has truly moved me.

Out of the new trend
Singer Vo Ha Tram recently left an impression on the audience with Continue the story of peace.
Sharing with Tuoi Tre, she feels extremely grateful to be born and raised in peacetime - a privilege that many generations of fathers and ancestors had to exchange with blood and tears to obtain. "Being able to sing songs with national spirit, I am always aware that this is not only an artistic role but also a responsibility," the artist said.
Vo Ha Tram said that when she sings, the image of soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the country to have what it has today always appears in her mind.
That is what helps her convey her emotions most sincerely to the audience. That is why when singing songs about her homeland and country, Vo Ha Tram puts her whole heart into each verse, "gratitude for the past, appreciation for the present and looking towards the future".
Nguyen Huu Vuong said that when he accepted the position of music director for the program "Fatherland in the Heart", he thought the number 50,000 was a figure for communication and PR purposes, but when he was present at the program on the evening of August 10, he was "overwhelmed".
"50,000 people are real. Looking down from above, the audience is a My Dinh stadium covered with national flags. Among them, I saw many people shed tears of emotion," Huu Vuong shared, "I feel very proud to be a part of that atmosphere."
He added that recent political programs show a change in organizational thinking.
No longer targeting the elderly with a somewhat simple script, in addition to a line-up spanning many generations of artists to reach the audience, especially young audiences, the program's script is youthful, creative, and entertaining.
"The 80th anniversary of National Day, September 2, is a very special occasion with strong resonance, so people listen to and sing patriotic songs that become a trend and go viral on social networks. In that atmosphere, I am outside the new trend," Huu Vuong shared.
