People donated 21 artifacts to Hoi An Cultural Heritage Management and Conservation Center

Accordingly, there are 9 artifacts of jars and pots discovered by people during the process of digging foundations for houses in Thinh My block, Cam An ward and 12 artifacts of anchors, rudders, jars, plates, sinkers... purchased by a collector from fishermen collected while diving to catch fish in the coastal sea area between Cam An ward and Cua Dai ward.

The donated artifacts this time are closely associated with the land, cultural life and people of ancient Cam An.

At the reception, Mr. Quang Van Quy - Deputy Director of Hoi An Cultural Heritage Management and Conservation Center praised and acknowledged the contributions of individuals in donating artifacts. This is a meaningful work, contributing to spreading the movement of donating artifacts being kept in the community to museums for preservation, promotion and widely introducing their values to the public.

After receiving the artifacts, the center will research, appraise, complete the collection records, inventory the artifacts according to regulations, preserve, manage, and plan to display and introduce the donated artifacts in the coming time. At the same time, continue to mobilize and call on the community to donate artifacts to the museum, promote social activities in the collection work, and arouse the sense of responsibility of all classes of people in preserving Hoi An cultural heritage.
