The sculpture cluster " Gia Lai Land and People" was formed from the Sculpture Creation Camp of the same name, attracting 34 sculptors nationwide to participate with 54 sketches. From there, 14 best works were selected for public display, creating an emotional art space.
The sculptures come from many regions with different creative styles, but all are imbued with the breath of the Central Highlands. The blocks of stone and wood are imbued with artistic soul, placed in the open space of the urban area, becoming a bridge for nature and art to talk together.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Huu Que, Vice Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee, emphasized: "We express our deep gratitude to the sculptors who have devoted all their passion, talent and affection to creating works that are both rich in aesthetics and contain the local spirit. In particular, many authors from far away provinces and cities still come to Gia Lai, proving that the love of art is always closely linked to the love of people and this land".
Mr. Que said that the sculpture event at Hoi Phu stream is just the beginning. Gia Lai province hopes to continue expanding public art activities, renovating and renewing urban spaces, so that every street corner, park, and square becomes a cultural meeting place.
"Along with respecting and preserving the works at Hoi Phu stream, Gia Lai will continue to call for social resources and invite more talented artists, so that Gia Lai becomes a unique art destination in the region and the whole country," said Mr. Que.
