The Vietnam - Korea Cultural Day event in Can Tho city in 2024 is co-organized by the People's Committee of Can Tho city, the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Vietnam, and the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Ho Chi Minh City.
Vietnam - Korea Cultural Day in Can Tho city in 2024 will take place on October 5-6 at Luu Huu Phuoc Park, Ninh Kieu district, Can Tho city.
The event includes activities of 50 booths introducing Vietnamese - Korean culture, tourism, cuisine, education and trade.
Besides, there are activities: Final round of K-Dance Klech 2024 competition, summary of K-Pop Academy activities, K-Pop improvisational dance activities, instructions on making traditional Vietnamese - Korean dishes, Vietnamese - Korean folk games.
The highlight of the event is two nights of Vietnam - Korea art exchange with the participation of artists from Korea: Uhee Korean Traditional Art Troupe, Taekwondo National Team of the Korea Taekwondo Association, singer Tang Duy Tan, Unwreckable group - Champion of the K-Pop Cover Dance contest in Vietnam in 2023... along with students from universities in Can Tho city.
The Opening Ceremony of Vietnam - Korea Cultural Day in Can Tho city in 2024 is scheduled to take place at 7:00 p.m. on October 5.
On this occasion, the Organizing Committee will also award more than 300 scholarships (each worth 2 million VND) to poor students with good academic achievements, and Vietnamese and Korean children in difficult circumstances.
The event is free and promises to be an interesting and useful playground, sightseeing and exchange for people and tourists coming to Can Tho city on this occasion./.
