Why does the price of SJC gold bars decrease continuously?
On the morning of July 16, the price of SJC gold bars was listed by SJC, DOJI , and PNJ companies at 118.6 million VND/tael for buying and 120.6 million VND/tael for selling, down half a million VND compared to yesterday. Within 2 days, each tael of SJC gold bar lost nearly 1 million VND, breaking the continuous increase of the previous days.
Similarly, the price of 99.99% gold rings and jewelry gold also dropped to 114.2 million VND/tael for buying and 116.8 million VND/tael for selling, down 400,000 VND compared to yesterday.
Within 2 days, the price of gold rings lost about 800,000 VND/tael.

World gold sold off
Domestic gold prices have fallen for two consecutive days as world prices have plummeted. On the international market, gold prices are currently trading at $3,328/ounce this morning, down nearly $20/ounce from the previous session.
In the past 2 days, each ounce of gold lost about 40 USD/ounce (equivalent to a decrease of about 1.3 million VND/tael).
Gold prices are lacking upward momentum amid a strong recovery of the US dollar and US bond yields rising to nearly 4.5%. The US dollar index in the international market continued to climb to 98.58 points, up about 1.8% in recent sessions.
Currently, the world gold price converted according to the listed exchange rate is about 105.6 million VND/tael.
