Tomorrow, opening of exhibition of science and technology achievements

The exhibition aims to recreate the 80-year journey of contributions of the science - technology, post and telecommunications sectors.

The Ministry of Science and Technology said that from August 28 to September 5, the Exhibition of Achievements in Science - Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation will officially open at the National Exhibition Fair Center (VEC; Dong Anh, Hanoi), within the framework of the Exhibition of National Achievements on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

The exhibition aims to recreate the 80-year journey of contributions of the science - technology , post and telecommunications sector; affirm the fundamental role and key driving force of the sector in developing productive forces, enhancing endogenous capacity, national competitiveness and creating a sustainable future in the digital age.

The exhibition is organized according to the historical flow structure with 1 central area and 5 content zones. The zones are designed in the direction of open space, integrating diverse displays: books, posters, models, artifacts, typical science and technology products associated with projection equipment, search and digital data. In which, zone 1 recreates the period of resistance and national construction (1945-1954); zone 2 is the period of liberation of the South, reunification of the country and construction of socialism in the North (1954-1975); zone 3 is the pre-Doi Moi period (1975-1986); zone 4 is the Doi Moi and integration period (1986-2025); zone 5 has content about the new era (from 2025 onwards).

According to the representative of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the exhibition displays dozens of typical artifacts and products - from works winning the Ho Chi Minh Prize in natural sciences, social sciences, political theory...; defense inventions such as Bazooka, SKZ guns, anti-aircraft artillery, radar, SAM-2 missiles... to modern achievements such as 5G technology, VINASAT-1 satellite, ELBOT robot, MK-eID chip...

The artifacts and products not only demonstrate creative potential and self-reliance but also clearly demonstrate the pivotal role of science and technology in the development of a modern, creative and sustainable nation.
