Agribank has continuously announced the auction of assets including 28 land use rights, house ownership rights and other assets attached to land in Minh An ward, Cam Pho ward, Hoi An city, Quang Nam province (now Hoi An ward, Da Nang city) and Cam Thanh commune, Hoi An city (now Hoi An Dong ward, Da Nang city).

These assets were used as collateral for loans from a series of related companies, including: Dong Duong Hotel Management Investment JSC, Ann Taylor Company Limited, Thien Nhat Viet Trading and Service Company Limited, Dai Bao Nga Company Limited, Tuan Kiet Investment Development and Construction Company Limited, Hoi An EXPRESS Tourism Trading and Service Company Limited, Huy Khang Tourism Trading and Service Company Limited, NL Trong Nhan Company Limited and customer Pham Que Anh.

Previously, this property was put up for sale in April 2025 but was unsuccessful.

Of which, the largest property is 767m2, starting price 52 billion VND. The remaining properties range from 90-200m2, priced from 8-16 billion VND.

Due to their close relationship, the above businesses either use the same asset as collateral, or use the assets of other businesses in the same ecosystem as collateral for their loans.

Outstanding loans of the above enterprises as of September 30, 2024 were announced by Agribank as follows:

Dong Duong Company 110.921 billion VND; Ann Taylor Company 103.253 billion VND; Dai Bao Nga Company 67.521 billion VND; Huy Khang Company 71.789 billion VND; Trong Nhan Company 932 million VND; Thien Nhat Viet Company 60.894 billion VND; Hoi An Express Company 51.084 billion VND; Tuan Kiet Company 25.67 billion VND and customers Pham Que Anh - Nguyen Lam Huy (representatives of most of the above companies) 12.777 billion VND.

Total outstanding debt of organizations and individuals as of September 30, 2024 is VND 504,841 billion.

Meanwhile, the total starting auction value of the above 28 assets is only over 300 billion VND, much lower than the total outstanding debt.

In 2023, Agribank and VietinBank continuously put dozens of real estate assets, including houses, hotels, and resorts in Hoi An up for sale. Most of these assets are owned by businesses operating in the tourism sector.
