In the 2025 World's Best Airlines Ranking published by Skytrax, US airlines continue to be outside the top 20. Dubbed the Oscars of the aviation industry, the 2025 World Airline Awards took place on June 17 at the Paris Air Show, France, and are annually conducted by international air transport rating company Skytrax.

The results were determined by a global passenger satisfaction survey conducted between September 2024 and May 2025. Participants, representing more than 100 different nationalities, selected the winners from a pool of 325 different airlines.

This year, Qatar Airways was named the world's best airline, marking the ninth consecutive year the Middle Eastern carrier has topped the list.

The airline also won the award for world's best business class while the Al Mourjan Garden Lounge at Doha Airport, Qatar was named world's best business class lounge.

The remaining list in the top 10 is mostly Asian airlines, including: Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Emirates, ANA All Nippon Airways, Turkish Airlines, Korean Air, Air France, Japan Airlines, Hainan Airlines.

Meanwhile, Vietnam's representative, Vietnam Airlines, ranked 47th in 2024 but fell to 62nd this year.
