King Hung Nguyen: "I don't have a lover yet, I will pursue if he is worthy"

(Dan Tri) - King Huu Hung is focusing on his work as an artist and teacher. For him, love is not a priority at the moment, but he is willing to pursue it if he feels it is worth it.

Why did you accept to participate in the MV "Brilliant New Day" - a song in the series of activities celebrating the 20th anniversary of the establishment of Dan Tri electronic newspaper?

- This is the first community project I have participated in. When I learned that the song was composed by Thao My, who made the MV "Stealing the Sun" with 80 artists, I was very impressed. After that, learning about the charity activities of Dan Tri newspaper, I wanted to participate even more.

Maybe it's because of my starting point, I was born into a poor family, so I really appreciate projects that help the community.

It is known that you are participating in the reality show “Acceleration Arena”. Why is a new name like you among the famous stars?

- This is a very precious opportunity for me when I met people who believed in and helped me. Therefore, I will always do my best to not disappoint everyone's expectations.

How has your life changed since winning the title? What are your priorities now?

- After all the social activities, my life still goes on as usual. I meet students, still teach in class, still practice to improve myself every day, and sometimes still go back to my hometown to visit my loved ones.

Those are my habits. To me, life like that is full, beautiful and worth living.

"The truth will always be the truth even if I remain silent"

Speaking of Mister Tourism World 2025 Nguyen Huu Hung, the public is still curious about the scandal in which the Organizing Committee announced to revoke his title and then return it. So what happened behind the scenes of the title he is holding?

- Speaking of this, I also did not participate in the process of the Organizing Committee, because that is under the authority of the contest, not the contestants. I am just a contestant and was lucky to receive the highest prize, something I never dared to think of before. I believe in the law and believe that the right thing will be recognized.

Although you have regained your title, there is still old, uncorrected information in many media outlets. Do you find it annoying to have to “live with the misunderstanding” related to the title you officially achieved?

- I think that those who love me will not misunderstand. As for those who do not know, I will use that as motivation to try harder in the future. I want everyone to recognize and love Huu Hung in many aspects, not just because of the title of King.

From the misunderstanding, there were mixed opinions about your title, how did you choose to react, refute or stay silent?

- I think the truth will always be the truth even if I stay silent. I accept conflicting information as a way to train myself to be stronger.

I also understand that on the path I want to take, there will be many difficulties, but as long as I have good brothers and teammates by my side, I think there is nothing I cannot overcome. So, instead of objecting, I choose to stay silent and try.

Besides, I have to admit that with close people, I am quite extroverted and comfortable sharing everything, not as secretive as on social networks (laughs).

On social media, you are quite secretive about your love life. Is that your image choice or because you are currently… single?

- Right now, I'm focusing on work so I don't think much about love.

In love, are you the one who takes the initiative or let things come naturally?

- In love, I will pursue what I feel is worthy and will let things take their natural course.

What is your ideal type of lover?

- Life is always changing, so I don't have a fixed model. I will feel according to the time and situation.

Nguyen Huu Hung wants to develop in both roles of King and teacher.

People often say that physical beauty is something that fades easily. When you are no longer King, what do you want people to remember Hung Nguyen for?

- King is just a title that comes with showing my ability and being accepted and loved by everyone.

Whether I am the King or not, I still hope that everyone will still love me, a Hung Nguyen who is always dedicated to his work, always wanting to devote his strength and ability to help people around him.

Between the roles of King and teacher, which role do you like better?

- I don't separate those two roles. They go hand in hand and support each other. A teacher can be an inspiration not only in the classroom but also in society.
