Cruciferous vegetables

Broccoli, cauliflower, purple cabbage or kale... are vegetables that contain many essential minerals and vitamins for the body along with a large amount of antioxidants, supporting collagen production and increasing skin elasticity.

Vitamin A and antioxidants help neutralize free radicals, preventing wrinkle formation for youthful, smooth skin.

Dr. Mark Hyman, author of the book Young Forever , says you should eat at least one or two cups of this vegetable every day.

Olive oil

Olive oil provides a source of healthy fats, which are great for your health and increase your anti-inflammatory abilities.

Dr. Mark Hyman cites studies showing that olive oil is also an excellent source of vitamins A, D, E and K and about 30 phenolic compounds.

These substances can act as antioxidants, protect the skin from the harmful effects of free radicals, and prevent skin aging.

Nuts and seeds

Pumpkin seeds, almonds, sesame seeds, pecans, hazelnuts, walnuts... provide large amounts of unsaturated fatty acids that are beneficial for the body and skin.

Fruits and seeds are rich in vitamin E, which protects the skin from harmful UV rays, hydrates and restores skin tissue, leaving the skin smooth and youthful.

Berries

Blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, cranberries... contain few calories, many vitamins and polyphenols, help increase anti-inflammatory ability, reduce the harmful effects of free radicals on the skin.

Phytochemicals in berries can activate the immune system, prevent disease, prolong life and rejuvenate the body, says Dr. Hyman.

Green tea

Green tea is rich in phytochemicals and catechins, which help boost the immune system and reduce inflammation. Green tea contains an antioxidant called epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), which is effective in rejuvenating dying skin cells.

Green tea is also rich in vitamin B2 which keeps skin youthful and firm and vitamin E which promotes new skin cell growth, making skin softer and more radiant.
