Comrade Mai The Son, Vice Chairman of My Thai Commune People's Committee, informed that in the spirit of urgently responding to the incident of landslides on the dike surface and slope and the risk of causing dike insecurity, on the night of July 8, the locality mobilized human resources with 5 cars, 3 excavators, 1 bulldozer, 1 roller to work overnight to build soil to protect the dike with a length of more than 100 m, a width of 10 m, and a height of nearly 2 m.

Currently, there are no planned and qualified mines near the landslide site. To meet the urgent needs of the project, the locality must requisition land from the fields under the ownership of households and individuals around the area to ensure timely remediation of the incident and limit the continued development of the landslide, which will affect the remaining dike body and dike surface.
