Children in Ea Sup commune are excited to participate in local summer activities. |
According to the Youth Union branches in Ea Sup commune, summer activities are organized periodically every weekend with many activities: organizing summer camps, folk games, group games, quizzes, painting competitions on topics, cultural exchanges, learning about traffic safety and accident prevention skills... Through these activities, children are not only entertained but also contribute to fostering morality, a positive lifestyle and community awareness.
Nguyen Khanh Ha (10 years old, in village 13) said: “This summer was really fun and memorable because I got to participate in many interesting and useful activities. What I like most is playing knowledge games and receiving gifts from the members. Through the activities, I find this to be a very meaningful activity because it helps us learn, have a space to play, practice skills and make new friends.”
Not only stopping at creating useful playgrounds, the work of caring for children in difficult circumstances is also being implemented by the Ea Sup Commune Youth Union. Within the framework of the Red Flamboyant Campaign in Sub-area 249, the Ea Sup Commune Youth Union coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, the Commune Police and other units and benefactors to present more than 200 gifts including notebooks, backpacks, T-shirts, hats, etc.
The gifts, though small but full of love, have contributed to motivating the children to confidently go to school. In addition to material gifts, the children also played games, interacted, watched movies and listened to useful sharing about drowning prevention skills, injury accidents and necessary legal knowledge. All are like pieces of a puzzle that contribute to nurturing the soul, providing more knowledge and necessary life skills, helping the children to be more confident and safe on their journey to adulthood.
