Sancho has no answer for Roma yet. |
According to reputable journalist Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United have agreed a fee of £20 million from AS Roma for Jadon Sancho. The proposed contract is on loan with an option to buy in the summer of 2026. However, the deal is still delayed because the English star has not agreed to the salary offered by Roma.
Sancho currently earns around £13m a year at Old Trafford, a figure that far exceeds the Italian capital club's initial offer. According to Football Italia , Roma want to sign Sancho on a five-year contract, with a starting salary of around £4m a season plus bonuses that will increase season by season.
MU confirmed that Sancho has no future at Old Trafford and is ready to close the deal as soon as the 25-year-old player agrees. The current contract between the two sides is only valid until the end of the 2025/26 season.
Roma are not the only options for Sancho. Juventus, Besiktas and former club Borussia Dortmund have all expressed interest in the English striker. Meanwhile, in another development, Roma are close to completing the signing of Leon Bailey from Aston Villa. The Jamaican winger has agreed to move to Serie A from the 2025/26 season, for an undisclosed fee.
