Resettlement areas ready to serve the North-South high-speed railway project

QTO - On the morning of August 17, representatives of the Departments of Construction, Finance, Agriculture and Environment inspected the preparations for the groundbreaking ceremony of resettlement projects serving the site clearance of the high-speed railway project on the North-South axis in Dong Son, Ba Don wards and Quang Trach commune on the occasion of National Day, September 2.

In Dong Son ward, there are about 125 households with a land area of about 9 hectares and a cultural house within the scope of land acquisition and clearance. The project arranges 189 land lots (including 125 resettlement land lots, the remaining 64 lots to accommodate the eligible population for land compensation and reserve), with each lot area ranging from ^180m2 - ^380m2 .

In Quang Trach commune, the number of affected households within the land acquisition area is about 48 households corresponding to 48 resettlement plots, with each plot area ranging from ^252m2 - ^378m2 ; the number of people expected to be eligible for land acquisition compensation is about 79 people corresponding to 79 plots, with each plot area ranging from ^195m2 - ^199.37m2 .

In Ba Don ward, the number of households affected within the land acquisition area is about 145 households corresponding to 145 resettlement plots, with an average area of each plot of ^250m2 ; the expected number of people eligible for land acquisition compensation is about 78 people corresponding to 78 plots, with an average area of each plot of about ^200m2 ; the reserve for resettled households and the number of eligible people is about 25 plots. In the resettlement areas, the work of leveling the ground, building roads and other infrastructure is being carried out.

Through on-site inspections, representatives of the departments discussed and agreed with the localities on continuing to complete the remaining work and carefully preparing all material and technical conditions, ensuring security and order... so that the groundbreaking ceremonies of the projects take place solemnly, effectively, economically and safely.
