
According to information from the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports , in the series of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), Hanoi city will organize and coordinate many cultural and artistic activities at the national and city levels.
Specifically, national-level programs include the live TV bridge with the theme "Golden Opportunity" which will take place at 8:10 p.m. on August 22, 2025 at Hanoi Flag Tower. The program is chaired by the Central Propaganda and Education Commission, organized by Vietnam Television and Hanoi People's Committee.

Next, on the evening of September 1 at My Dinh National Stadium, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will organize a special art program to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day September 2, with a scale of 30,000 spectators.
In particular, tonight, August 17, at My Dinh National Stadium Square, the capital's audience will enjoy the art program "Proud to be Vietnamese", hosted by the Central Propaganda and Education Commission, in coordination with the Hanoi People's Committee and Vietnam Television.
The Ministry of Public Security coordinated with other units to organize the program "Peaceful Festival" from August 16 to 19, with many experiential activities, exhibitions from 8:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and cultural and artistic programs taking place in the evening. This is an activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Traditional Day, the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection, and at the same time, it is associated with the event to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

Hanoi City organizes large-scale programs on this occasion such as the art program “Hanoi – Forever the Aspiration of Vietnam” and light mapping projection at the National Exhibition Center on the evening of August 31; light projection nights at Hoan Kiem Lake on August 29 and 30; the program “80 Years – Pride of Vietnam” taking place on the evening of September 2 at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square, along with daytime experiential activities from August 30 to September 2.
In particular, on the evening of September 2, Hanoi also organized a series of art programs associated with high-altitude fireworks displays: "Under the golden stars" at My Dinh National Stadium, "Immortal epic" at Lac Long Quan Flower Garden (Tay Ho) and "Forever the triumphant song" at Van Quan Lake (Ha Dong).
In addition, during this time, performing arts activities were also brought to serve people in communes far from the city center such as Thach That, Phu Xuyen, Me Linh, Ba Vi, My Duc, Dan Phuong, Ung Hoa.
