Due to the nature of the situation, most of the meritorious people and their relatives are old and have limited health, so immediately after receiving them, the Center organizes health checks and creates medical records for each person; every day, the meritorious people and their relatives sit in massage chairs, soak their feet in traditional medicine, take a steam bath, exercise, improve their health, and participate in cultural exchanges... so everyone is excited.
The new point in nursing activities in 2025 is that meritorious people and their relatives will be physical therapy, rehabilitation by team Professional technicians and many advanced, modern technical equipment.
According to the Department of Home Affairs, in 2025, the whole province will have 2,456 people with meritorious services and relatives of people with meritorious services to the revolution who are eligible for centralized nursing care. Based on a survey of the needs and health conditions of people with meritorious services and relatives of people with meritorious services, it is expected that in the last 6 months of 2025, there will be 25 centralized nursing care sessions organized.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Bi, a veteran of Luong Tai commune (Van Lam) happily said: "During the convalescence period, we were taken care of in all aspects, given advice on diet and full treatment with many modern equipment. Along with other activities, the Center also organized a tour for delegates to visit other provinces, so we were not only stable in health but also felt very happy and comfortable.
From 2021, the Nursing and Care Center for Meritorious People was moved from An Thi district to a new facility in Hien Nam ward ( Hung Yen city). Currently, the Center has an area of over 23,000m2 ; a residential area with 96 nursing beds; functional buildings such as: Management and medical buildings, dining hall, laundry, along with modern technical infrastructure, spacious campus, trees...
Although the Center for Nursing and Care for Meritorious People currently has only 18/23 staff (5 positions short of the assigned target), the staff of the center always upholds the spirit of responsibility, improves the quality of nursing work for meritorious people, considering it a practical action, contributing to beautifying the nation's morality of "When drinking water, remember its source".
In the coming time, the Center will continue to improve the quality of nursing activities, contributing to expressing gratitude for the merits and contributions of previous generations of fathers and brothers who fought and sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
