GA2 Ganoderma mushroom growing model of Hoang Lien National Park

After a period of experimental planting, the GA2 lingzhi mushroom growing model of the Department of Science and International Cooperation, Hoang Lien National Park has now yielded its first harvest, creating a new product for consumption and tourism in the area.

From the beginning of 2025, the GA2 Ganoderma mushroom growing model has been researched and tested by the Department of Science and International Cooperation, Hoang Lien National Park with 21,000 trees.

After being propagated by tissue culture, the Ganoderma lucidum is inoculated into substrates that have been treated to ensure conditions for growth.

The mushroom bags are grown in greenhouses with suitable temperature, humidity and light conditions so that the lingzhi mushrooms grow just like in the natural environment.

According to the assessment, GA2 Ganoderma mushroom is suitable for the soil, weather, temperature and humidity conditions in Sa Pa and can produce good quality products. Up to now, the mushroom has started to harvest the first batch with more than 3,000 plants.

After harvest, GA2 Ganoderma mushrooms are processed into sliced ​​mushrooms and nutritious dried mushrooms to serve local consumption and tourism needs.

Through initial analysis by experts, GA2 Ganoderma mushrooms grown in Hoang Lien National Park have superior advantages over wild mushrooms because they are regularly monitored and harvested at the right time, helping to preserve all the nutrients of the mushrooms.
