Department of Finance works with 6 communes on budget revenue and expenditure in 2025

On August 26, at Luc Yen commune, the specialized working group of the Provincial Department of Finance led by Mr. Chu Hoang Son - Deputy Director of the Department of Finance, had a working session with 6 communes, including: Luc Yen, Tan Linh, Muong Lai, Lam Thuong, Khanh Hoa and Phuc Loi on the budget collection and expenditure in 2025.

Working scene

At the meeting, the communes reported in detail on the implementation of financial tasks since the implementation of the new government model. All communes issued resolutions and decisions to assign detailed budget estimates to each unit; at the same time, they developed budget collection scenarios for each quarter, assigning responsibility to the head. In the first 7 months of the year, the total state budget revenue in the area basically met the plan assigned by the province.

Leaders of Luc Yen and Lam Thuong Commune People's Committees spoke at the meeting.

In addition to the achieved results, the communes also pointed out some difficulties, such as: the methods of monitoring, synthesizing, and reporting budget revenue are not complete, the data still depends heavily on the tax authorities; school facilities are degraded, lacking resources for renovation and repair; equipment serving commune activities is still limited.

Concluding the working session, Mr. Chu Hoang Son - Deputy Director of the Department of Finance, Head of the Working Group emphasized that the important task at present is to overcome the gaps caused by administrative mergers to ensure smooth and effective financial and budgetary activities at the grassroots level. Communes need to proactively coordinate with the Department's specialized departments, strictly manage revenue and expenditure sources, and strictly implement procedures and regulations.

The representative of the Working Group affirmed that the Department of Finance will accompany and support to remove difficulties so that the communes can soon stabilize and develop sustainably in the new period.
