Long An's budget revenue in 5 months reached over 17,200 billion VND, an increase of over 34%

(Chinhphu.vn) - The total state budget revenue in the first 5 months of 2025 of Long An province reached 17,287.5 billion VND, equal to 71.9% of the estimate assigned by the Central Government and 70.5% of the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council, an increase of 34.1% over the same period last year.

The 26th session of the 10th term Long An Provincial People's Council

On June 24, the 10th term Long An Provincial People's Council held its 26th session, the regular mid-year session of 2025. The Standing Committee of the Tay Ninh Provincial People's Council attended the meeting via online screen.

At the meeting, the report on socio -economic development in the first 6 months of 2025 of the Long An Provincial People's Committee said that the growth of gross regional domestic product (GRDP) in the first quarter in the area is estimated at 7.2%.

This is the highest economic growth rate in the first quarter from 2021 to present in Long An province.

Total retail sales of goods and consumer services revenue in the first 6 months is estimated to increase by 19.04% over the same period last year.

Import-export turnover in the first 6 months is estimated to increase by 13.19% over the same period. Of which, export is estimated at 4.21 billion USD, up 15.34% over the same period, import is estimated at 2.63 billion USD, up 9.9%.

Notably, the total state budget revenue in the first 5 months reached 17,287.5 billion VND, equal to 71.9% of the estimate assigned by the Central Government and 70.5% of the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council, an increase of 34.1% over the same period last year.

According to the program, the 26th Session of the Long An Provincial People's Council will consider and approve important contents, such as reviewing and evaluating the work report for the first 6 months of 2025 of the Provincial People's Council Standing Committee, committees of the Provincial People's Council, People's Committee, People's Court, People's Procuracy, Provincial Civil Judgment Enforcement Agency, and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.

The Long An Provincial People's Council will also review the first 6-month reports of the Provincial People's Committee on socio-economic development, public investment, state budget, anti-corruption, crime and law violations, and settlement of complaints, denunciations and recommendations from voters.

This is the regular mid-year meeting of 2025 and also the last meeting of the 10th term Long An Provincial People's Council, before the conference to summarize the activities of the 10th term Long An Provincial People's Council, scheduled to be held on the afternoon of June 27.
