On the morning of July 13, in Ha Tinh province, the Vietnam Circular Agriculture Association, Que Lam Group Joint Stock Company and communes and wards in the area held a signing ceremony of a memorandum of cooperation to accompany organic agricultural production, circular economy , and value chain linkage.
Attending the event were comrade Nguyen Thi Ha Tan - Provincial Party Committee member, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; leaders of units, departments, branches and localities.
On behalf of Que Lam Group Corporation, there was Mr. Nguyen Hong Lam - Chairman of Vietnam Circular Agriculture Association - Chairman of the Board of Directors; and other company leaders.
In recent years, Que Lam Group Joint Stock Company has promoted cooperation with units, localities and people in Ha Tinh to develop organic agriculture and circular economy according to the value chain. There are 9 district-level units (formerly) that have signed contracts with the company to develop organic agricultural production and have specific products.
Many organic, circular agricultural models following closed processes have been put into effective operation, changing people's production thinking from traditional to organic, environmentally friendly agriculture, creating sustainable livelihoods for people.
Up to now, Ha Tinh has had 72 models of organic pig and cow farming; more than 455 hectares of rice, 1.2 hectares of melon, 4 hectares of oranges, grapefruit and some other fruit trees are produced organically. The models associated with Que Lam Company are produced according to clean and safe processes, reducing investment costs while increasing productivity and product quality; the enterprise provides seeds, organic fertilizers, care techniques and purchases all products.
In addition, every year, the company always pays attention to propaganda, training and education for cadres and people in localities in Ha Tinh on methods and processes of organic agricultural production; building a chain of stores and supermarkets to introduce organic products, meeting the needs of people. In the first 6 months of 2025 alone, hundreds of households have registered to learn experiences and techniques in raising and growing livestock and crops according to the Que Lam value chain. At the signing ceremony, delegates and model owners shared experiences and affirmed the effectiveness and sustainability of implementing organic and circular agricultural models according to the value chain with Que Lam Company.
The leaders of the People's Committees of 26 communes and wards in Ha Tinh and Que Lam Group Joint Stock Company agreed to sign a memorandum of cooperation to continue to accompany the construction and development of organic agriculture and the circulation of the Que Lam value chain.
In which, the parties will accompany and cooperate to propagate and raise awareness for officials and people in the production and use of organic agricultural products; train, coach, and foster managers and farmers, help farmers start a business with organic agricultural economy, circular economy, and the value chain of Que Lam; cooperate to build organic agricultural stores to introduce and consume organic agricultural products. Accompany to protect the environment, improve the soil, increase soil fertility with nutrients for crops and biological products of Que Lam.
The People's Committees of communes and wards develop plans for the development of organic and circular agricultural economy according to the value chain, and include this task in the annual socio-economic development plans of the People's Committees of communes and wards and social organizations. Que Lam Group Joint Stock Company will organize training and guidance on organic agricultural production and the circular value chain of Que Lam for local managers and farmers.
