The Vietnam U.21 women's volleyball team has some good players like Dang Thi Hong, but their immature playing style and uneven strength caused coach Nguyen Trong Linh's students to lose both first two matches of Group B of the VTV Cup 2025 international women's volleyball tournament against Taiwan (0-3) and Thailand U.21 (1-3).

In the final match of Group B taking place at 7:00 p.m. today (live on VTV2, VTV Can Tho ), U.21 Vietnam faces a huge challenge when facing Korabelka Club, the defending champion. The team from Russia, after winning 3-2 against U.21 Thailand in their opening match, aims to win against U.21 Vietnam to improve their ranking. Meanwhile, if U.21 Vietnam fails to surprise their opponents, they will finish the group stage in the last position among the four teams and will likely face the Vietnam women's volleyball team in the quarterfinals. The coaching staff of the U.21 Vietnam team expects the young players to play confidently and improve with each match.
Also today, the remaining match in Group B will take place between U.21 Thailand and the Taiwanese team (2 p.m.). In Group A, the match will take place between the Philippines team and Sichuan Club (China). After 2 consecutive wins, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team will have a day off and will play the final match of Group A tomorrow (July 1) against Sichuan Club.
