Dien Hue Nam Festival (also known as Dien Hon Chen Festival) is one of the unique and Hue-style festivals that takes place in the third and seventh lunar months every year.

The festival is a traditional activity with spiritual cultural elements worshiping the Holy Mother Thien Y Ana, attracting tens of thousands of followers of the Mother Goddess religion to participate.

The festival begins with the procession of the Holy Mother from Hue Nam Temple to Hai Cat communal house on boats assembled into rafts; with the Holy Mother's palanquin and the royal decree, along with ritual objects such as umbrellas, umbrellas, flags, fans, a team of attendants, servants and pilgrims.

Then there was the ceremony of welcoming the Holy Mother (from Hai Cat communal house) back to the temple, and the ceremony of releasing animals and releasing lanterns... took place lively with the music of the singing troupe and the octet troupe.

The annual Hue Nam Temple Festival contributes to preserving and promoting the cultural values and heritage associated with the relic; at the same time, it meets the spiritual needs of the community practicing the worship of the Three Palaces - a representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity recognized by UNESCO and attracts tourists to Hue city.
