
The delegation inspected the operations at the Phu Quy Special Zone Public Administration Service Center. It was noted from the reality that since the new government apparatus was put into operation, the staff and civil servants have made efforts to carry out the process of receiving and processing administrative records quickly and accurately, without any delays or interruptions.


Provincial leaders highly appreciated the proactive spirit of local Party committees and authorities in improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the apparatus, and at the same time proposed to continue reviewing and overcoming existing problems to ensure better service for people and businesses, taking the satisfaction of organizations and individuals as a measure of service quality.

Checking the progress of the storm shelter and Phu Quy Fishing Port project (phase 2), the provincial leaders acknowledged and commended the efforts of the construction unit, requesting all parties to continue to speed up the progress, ensuring handover on schedule.
It is known that this is a key project, approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (formerly) under Decision No. 5048/QD-BNN-XD dated December 27, 2022. The project's objective is to build a safe anchorage area for about 1,000 fishing vessels with a capacity of up to 600CV, serving fishermen operating in key fishing grounds such as South Central Coast, Truong Sa, DK1...
The project has a total investment of more than 446 billion VND from the central budget, with implementation period from 2023 to 2026. The Provincial Agricultural Project Management Board is the investor, with 3 main packages being implemented, including: Package No. 18: Including items such as dredging anchorage and shipping channels; construction of bank protection embankments; installation of anchor buoy and channel signaling systems, leveling the ground...

To date, 91.88% of the volume has been completed, expected to be completed before October 26, 2025. Package No. 19: Including onshore technical infrastructure systems such as internal roads, water supply and drainage systems, lighting, wastewater treatment plants, management houses, toilets, guard houses... is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2025 and Package No. 20: Supply and installation of equipment, has completed signing the contract and received the construction site since the end of June 2025. To date, the project has been allocated 311.65 billion VND, of which 272.5 billion VND has been disbursed, achieving a high rate compared to the progress.

The delegation also visited the National Sovereignty Flagpole in Phu Quy, a project of special significance, which began construction in 2015. This is one of seven flagpoles built by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union on outpost islands nationwide. The project contributes to promoting and educating patriotism, national pride and raising awareness and responsibility in protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands for the people, especially the young generation and visitors.

In addition, provincial leaders surveyed the area where the project to prevent coastal erosion in the North of Phu Quy Island is expected to be implemented, with a total investment of about 300 billion VND. The goal is to prevent erosion and landslides, while protecting people's lives and property and essential infrastructure systems such as roads, cultural and historical relics in this area.
