Dong Hoi ward leaders offer flowers at Uncle Ho Temple and Heroic Martyrs

This morning, July 1, before the first session of the People's Council of Dong Hoi ward, term I, 2021-2026, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Hoi ward held a flower and incense offering ceremony at the Temple of Uncle Ho and the Provincial Heroes and Martyrs - located in the center of the provincial capital, Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street, Dong Hoi Ward, Quang Tri Province.

Secretary of Dong Hoi Ward Party Committee Pham Thi Han and Chairman of Ward People's Committee Hoang Ngoc Dan rang the bell at the Temple of Uncle Ho and Provincial Heroic Martyrs.

Attending the ceremony were Member of the Standing Committee of Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Dong Hoi Ward Party Committee Pham Thi Han; Standing Committee, Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Party Executive Committee, leaders of the People's Committee and representatives of departments, branches and unions of the ward.

This is a sacred activity, taking place at a special time, when 8 communes and wards (belonging to the old Dong Hoi city) officially merged into Dong Hoi ward - the center of Quang Tri province. The event is a historical milestone, affirming the determination to build a streamlined, effective and efficient government apparatus in accordance with the spirit of the Central Resolution.

Dong Hoi ward leaders held a moment of silence to commemorate the contributions of Uncle Ho and the heroic martyrs.

After the bell-ringing ceremony, the delegation of Dong Hoi ward solemnly observed a minute of silence to commemorate the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh - the great leader who devoted his whole life to national independence and people's happiness, along with the heroes and martyrs who sacrificed for the Fatherland.

On this occasion, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Hoi ward also came to offer incense at the ward's Traditional House.
