Bank interest rates today June 19, 2025: Big4 banks paying the highest interest rates revealed

Except for Agribank , which slightly adjusted its deposit interest rates in early January 2025, the remaining three banks in the Big4 group, Vietcombank, VietinBank and BIDV, have not made any adjustments to deposit interest rates in 2025.

Of which, Vietcombank continues to be the bank with the lowest listed interest rate. Currently, the online interest rate for 1-2 month term at Vietcombank is 1.6%/year, a rare interest rate below 2%/year in the market.

Even Vietcombank's online deposit interest rate for 3-5 month terms is only listed at 1.9%/year. Meanwhile, bank interest rates for terms from 6-11 months are 2.9%/year, interest rates for terms from 12-18 months are 4.6%/year and interest rates for terms from 24-36 months are 4.7%/year.

Meanwhile, savings interest rates at BIDV and VietinBank are quite similar. Both banks are listing online savings interest rates for 1-2 month terms at 2%/year, 3-5 month terms at 2.3%/year and 12-18 month terms at 4.7%/year.

BIDV listed the bank interest rate for 24-36 month terms at 4.9%/year, while VietinBank listed the interest rate at 5%/year for these terms - this is also the highest mobilization interest rate in the Big4 group.

For terms under 18 months, Agribank is the bank that announces the highest interest rate among the Big4 banks.

Accordingly, Agribank listed online banking interest rates for 1-2 month terms at 2.4%/year; 3-5 month terms at 3%/year; 6-11 month terms at 3.7%/year; 12-18 month terms at 4.8%/year and 24-36 month terms at 4.9%/year.

Among domestic commercial banks, the Big4 banking group still plays a role in shaping the level of deposit and lending interest rates. Not only with deposit interest rates, Agribank, Vietcombank, VietinBank, and BIDV are also the banks that announce the lowest lending interest rates in the market.

These are also the leading banks in terms of market share in lending and mobilization today.
