Candidates taking the 2006 General Education Program will take a combination test in Natural Sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) or Social Sciences (History, Geography, Civic Education) in the form of multiple choice questions.

The total number of candidates registered to take the exam on the morning of June 27 was 45,103, of which 44,829 candidates were present, reaching 99.39%, and 274 were absent.
According to the assessment of teachers and candidates, the exam basically follows the structure, format, and orientation of the Ministry of Education and Training ; the exam content is within the curriculum, mainly in grade 12.
