Celebrating 99 years of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day

At the seminar, delegates reviewed the glorious tradition and brilliant milestones over 99 years of formation and development of Vietnam's Revolutionary Press.

Leaders of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee and press management units in the area attended and shared with the team of press agencies operating in Gia Lai province.

Speaking at the seminar, Vice Chairwoman in charge of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh Lich sent best wishes to all journalists, reporters and collaborators working in Gia Lai province. At the same time, she acknowledged and praised the great contributions of central and local press agencies to the local development in recent times.

The Vice Chairman in charge of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee emphasized: The Provincial People's Committee, departments and branches always create the best environment for journalists and reporters to work and access information in the most convenient way. Journalists and reporters also need to boldly propose opinions on working conditions so that provincial leaders as well as departments and branches can promptly support. It is recommended that press agencies in the coming time need to promote digital transformation; have adequate platforms, equipment and human resources to meet the requirements of digital transformation.

The Department of Information and Communications organized a discussion to listen to the thoughts and aspirations of journalists and reporters working in Gia Lai province.

Through the Seminar, the provincial leaders and agencies, departments and branches in the province also hope to continue to receive the support of press agencies in the leadership, direction and implementation of political tasks of local Party committees and authorities to contribute to building Gia Lai rich, civilized and rich in identity.

On behalf of the Central Association, the Gia Lai Provincial Journalists Association awarded the "For the cause of Vietnamese journalism" Medal and Journalists Association membership cards to individuals who have worked and contributed for a long time in Gia Lai province.

At the seminar, representatives of press agencies and reporters and journalists discussed and shared the thoughts and aspirations of journalists in the context of current socio -economic development. Along with that, many thoughts and suggestions were shared to help the provincial press develop further in the future.

The Provincial Journalists Association awarded membership cards to reporters and journalists working in Gia Lai province.

On this occasion, 9 members of the Gia Lai Provincial Journalists Association received the Medal "For the cause of Vietnamese journalism"; at the same time, the Gia Lai Provincial Journalists Association also awarded the Decision to admit members of the Vietnam Journalists Association in 2024 to 10 individuals working in the provincial press agencies and the district-level Center for Culture - Information and Sports.
