10 children with special circumstances in Lao Cai return to the capital to celebrate a meaningful summer

"This is the happiest summer for me. I will tell my friends in the village about this meaningful trip. I visited Hoan Kiem Lake, the Temple of Literature, and Uncle Ho's Mausoleum... places that I only knew about before on TV." That was the innocent sharing of Vang Thi Bau, one of the special children who just had a memorable summer vacation in Hanoi.

Vang Thi Bau is one of 10 children with special circumstances in Lao Cai , sponsored by Psychotherapist Nguyen Thi Lanh and Minh Tri Thanh Academy through the connection of Dan Tri newspaper, Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee.

The relationship between the 10 children and Minh Tri Thanh Academy began after the circulation of storm No. 3 devastated Lao Cai in September 2024, leaving behind many losses and sorrows. With a commitment to accompany the children until they turn 18, each child who has lost one parent receives 2.5 million VND/month, and those who have lost both parents are sponsored 3 million VND/month. This is not only financial support but also a great source of encouragement, lighting up the determination for the children to continue going to school and firmly build their future.

To continue to nurture love and bring memorable experiences, in 2 days (July 15-16), a journey full of love and meaning called "Journey of connection, sowing seeds of love" took place in the capital Hanoi.

The joy and excitement were evident on each face when the children were able to directly see and visit famous historical and cultural sites of Hanoi, such as: Hoan Kiem Lake, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Temple of Literature... The trip was not only an opportunity for the children to broaden their knowledge, but also an opportunity to feel the vibrant atmosphere and beauty of the Capital.

During this time, Psychotherapist Nguyen Thi Lanh and Minh Tri Thanh Academy have always closely monitored and promptly provided both material and spiritual encouragement to the children. This summer vacation is a special occasion for the children and those who have always cared for them to have more stories to tell and more feelings to share.

During their visit to Hanoi, students from Lao Cai had meaningful and warm experiences from many kind-hearted people. First, they visited the headquarters of Dan Tri Newspaper and received scholarships from the kind-heartedness of readers.

After that, the journey continued with a visit and exchange at Minh Tri Thanh Academy Office. Here, the students had the opportunity to meet with staff and students, together feel the learning atmosphere and share friendship. This meaningful trip is one of many volunteer activities that Minh Tri Thanh Academy has been carrying out in Lao Cai province. Previously, Minh Tri Thanh Academy and the students of "Raise Level, Coach (trainer, instructor) Raise Level" brought meaningful gifts to students at many schools in Sa Pa. Each gift, though small, contained feelings and messages of love, contributing to spreading positive values to the community. In addition to giving gifts, students also supported the repair and construction of schools, contributing to bringing a new, safe and warm school to children in the highlands.

The Academy also coordinated with Dan Tri newspaper, the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee to support the reconstruction of 7 charity houses for people in the old Van Ban district in the program to rebuild people's lives after storms and floods.
