Not only an art program, but also a heartfelt gratitude from artists to the Lao Dong Newspaper.

The art program to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper will take place on the afternoon of July 25, with the participation of many famous artists in Ho Chi Minh City. This will be a meaningful reunion for many artists, especially those who have been honored at the Mai Vang Award, an award organized by the newspaper itself for the past 3 decades.

Multi-color

The opening performance is "Continuing the story of peace " - a famous composition by musician Nguyen Van Chung full of humanity, performed by singer Nguyen Duyen Quynh with the Lac Long Quan Theater Club choir. Next is the appearance of singer Duc Tuan with the song "Love song" (musician Pham Duy), promising to bring the audience and guests back to beautiful spiritual values, where music always preserves deep memories of the homeland.

Singer Duc Tuan - who has won the Mai Vang Award three times - shared: "I grew up with the Mai Vang Award of Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper. Being invited to perform at the 50th Anniversary of Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper with a favorite song is a source of pride."

Singer Uyen Trang will bring an epic atmosphere with the song "Lullaby of the Country" (musician Van Thanh Nho), recalling the image of the beloved homeland through the lullaby of the mother, of the land and of national traditions.

Having made a strong impression at the Art Gala "The Country Rises" organized by the Lao Dong Newspaper at Gigamall Thu Duc within the framework of the program "Honoring Vietnamese Coffee and Tea" for the 3rd time - 2025 and the Award Ceremony of the campaign to compose the theme song "The Country Full of Joy", the performance "City Smile" by musician Pham Minh Tuan will once again be performed through the vibrant, youthful voices of the DAT trio (Hoang Trung Anh, Quang Dai, La Tran Duc Thien) and the Blue Sky dance troupe.

Young singer La Tran Duc Thien expressed: "Being young and participating in this meaningful program helps me better understand my generation's responsibility towards the flow of history - not only through actions but also through music and heart."

Honor and pride

One of the most touching highlights of the program was the musical scene "The Lao Dong Newspaper - Glorious Journey" composed and directed by Journalist Thanh Hiep, with the participation of People's Artist Trong Phuc, Meritorious Artist Tu Suong and the Blue Sky Dance Group. The harmony was performed by Meritorious Artist - Musician Vo Thanh Liem. The performance was a long poem looking back on the 50-year journey of the formation and development of the Lao Dong Newspaper, from the voice of workers - laborers to the companion of the country's culture - art.

People's Artist Trong Phuc emotionally shared: "I still remember clearly the first time I was honored by Mai Vang. Today, being able to return to the stage of the very people who created that noble award, I feel that the life of an artist is truly complete and meaningful. This art program will remain in my memory forever."

The final part of the program will be the song "March of the Lao Dong Newspaper" composed by musician Thai Hiep, performed by the Lao Dong Newspaper's Art Troupe - like a bustling and determined call. The song carries the spirit of solidarity, effort and service to society of the collective of journalists over the past half century.

People's Artist Minh Vuong - who has won the Mai Vang Award many times, confided: "I thank Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper not only for honoring me during the years when I was at the peak of my art, but also for maintaining a decent playground for us artists for 30 years. Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper has contributed to inspiring the creative motivation and dedication of artists for the past 50 years.
